Course description:

This program allows students to acquire two B.S. degrees in 5 years. Students attend Angelo State University and follow a 3 year program of study followed by two years of study at Texas A and M University. Successful students will be awarded a degree in Agricultural Education from Texas A and M and a degree in Animal Science from Angelo State University.

Entry requirements:

Applicant from an accredited or unaccredited high school must meet one of the following requirements for admission: 1) Rank in the top 10% of the senior class at the time of application or graduate in the top 10% of the graduating class; 2) satisfactorily complete the Texas Scholars Program, Recommended High School Program, Distinguished Achievement or other College Preparatory Curriculum and present a minimum composite score on the Enhanced American College Test (ACT) of 16 or a minimum composite score on the SAT Reasoning Tests (SAT I) of 760; 3) Present a composite score on the Enhanced American College Test (ACT) or a combined verbal and math score on the SAT Reasoning Tests (SAT I), for the high school class rank; 4) successfully complete the curriculum requirements for the recommended or advanced high school program or its equivalent; or 5) satisfied ACT's College Readiness Benchmarks on the ACT assessment applicable to the applicant or earned on the SAT assessment a score of at least 1,500 out of 2,400 or the equivalent. They should have a TOEFL score of 550 or above (paper-based), 213 or above (computer-based), or 79 or above (internet-based).

Application details:

Applicant must submit the completed application form through online with $50non-refundable application fee. The fee should be paid by credit card if they apply online or mail the paper application along with the fee paid by International Money Order. They should submit official transcript(s) of previous academic record (high school transcript and US college transcripts); acceptable scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I), Supplemental Information Form, official Financial Statement Form (to be completed by sponsor and original bank statement or letter with original signatures on both forms). They should also submit Residency Questionnaire and Housing Application (including US $150 deposit and US $50 application fee) if they plan to live in University housing on campus. All the documents must sent to the Admissions Office.
