Course description:
This program is designed to enable students to develop analytical abilities, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills. Students are trained to acquire a sound understanding of modern management practices, relevant quantitative and qualitative techniques and computer applications in business and in business-related management. Developing student’s ethical values and ability to work effectively with others and produce desired outcomes are emphasized. Students are provided with technological knowledge and skills needed to succeed in business management in a rapidly changing, global economy.
Entry requirements:
Applicant should have a well-balanced college preparatory program that includes the following course work: 4 units English, 4 units Mathematics, 3 units Social science, 3 units Science and 2 units Foreign Language. They should have good secondary school academic record with a high school GPA of 2.22; SAT I Critical Reading score of 430; SAT Math score of 400; ACT English score of 17 and ACT Math score of 17. They must fulfill the English language proficiency by providing TOEFL scores.
Application details:
Applicant must submit the completed application form with a $20 application fee. The application fee must be payable by money order, cashier's check, or credit card. They must submit official high school transcript that shows the cumulative grade point average; official copies of ACT or SAT scores; TOEFL scores; and evidence of adequate financial resources. Housing and Residence Life offers a total of 10 residence halls - six female, three male, and one upperclassmen co-ed. Female halls include two traditional community style halls, two modern suite style halls, one private bedroom suite style hall and one fully equipped apartment style residence hall. Male halls include one traditional community style hall, one modern suite style hall, one private bedroom suite style hall and one fully equipped apartment style residence hall. Coeducational includes one fully equipped apartment style residence hall. The newest additions are the apartment and suite style residence halls. Apartment style units contain a common living area, a full kitchen, four single bedrooms, two full baths, and a washer/dryer set. Private bedroom suite style halls contain a common living area; four single bedrooms, two full baths, and a sink counter top combination. Traditional community style halls are designed with community restrooms and two people to a room. Modern suite style hall rooms are designed for two people to a room and four people to a full bathroom. Each student is supplied with a twin bed, desk, chair, chest, waste basket and closet space. All housing units are equipped with a 76 channel cable connection and a telephone outlet.
