Course description:

The program consists of 70 credit hours of study, including 64 credit hours completed through distance education and a one-week, six-credit-hour institute held at ATSU’s Mesa, Ariz. Campus. Students have the opportunity to focus on one of three concentration areas which include global health, organizational behavior and leadership, and for physician assistants, advanced physician assistant studies. The program also promotes application of research to professional practice through completion of an applied research project.

Entry requirements:

Candidates accepted for admission to the Doctor of Health Sciences program will have earned a master’s or doctorate degree in a healthcare discipline from a regionally accredited institution, or from a foreign university based on a transcript evaluation. Candidates must have achieved a minimum overall graduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must provide all official transcripts prior to matriculation.
