When I applied I was working as a solutions developer at TATA on R&D projects for 4.5 years, As mentioned before I took study leave – the fact that I had a secured job back in India was probably one of the strongest points of my application. My visa interview comprised of the standard questions about family, finances and academic background.

The university of Tulsa is one of the 6 universities which offers extensive research in information security. This was therefore one of my key choices. I think having work experience in the same field helped me blend into the research group easily at Tulsa.

Good social life. There is an Indian student association and you should find many other Indian students so that will not be too much of a problem.
