Friends, Please come with an open mind and show eagerness to learn. Always remember you are coming for a purpose.
I took the GRE and the TOEFL test. I did not attend coaching classes for this as I developed my own strategies. I did not hire a counselor for assistance. I needed F1 visa and the process was Straight forward. The interview didnt last for more than 5 minutes. I flew by Lufthansa I got a students fare but no excess baggage. The ticketing process was easy as I booked through an agent. I landed at Boston Logan International Airport half an hour from Tufts. There was no immigration problem as such. I did not have Meet and Greet program at the airport.
I got Tuition fees waived and getting stipend from University.
The program is good. There are little glitches. It is good in a big picture. The professors are good but there is always room for improvement. The lecture halls are well equipped and in great shape. The library is EXECELLENT.
I live off campus. All sports facilities are available throughout the year and are free for the students. Part time jobs are competitive. It is a mix of diverse culture. People are very social and respect others nationality. It has a very happening nightlife. The weather is a typical English weather. The winters are very cold and snowy. The Indian Society celebrates all the major Indian festivals.
There is a career services department for placements. International students are placed fairly well. There is a good placement process too. They organize career fairs. International center coordinates well with the work permit process, which has become a little tough this year. There is an alumni society too and they help with placements.
Located in Massachusetts.
