WPI is one of the few good universities that gives an MS in Information technology based on a GRE score. Also, I had communicated with Prof Diane Strong from the university who had offered me research assistantship under the current program. I benefitted a lot from my program.
Got my visa easily. I was asked the usual questions about the university and the program...The VO didnt even see any documents for which i had given my parents sleepless nights! I had worked with Capgemini consulting as an SAP technical programmer before I applied for my MS...some work experience always counts. Thats it , its easy if you appear confident. Act as if you not begging for a visa but you deserve one, moreover its important to give concrete names and professor references really help a lot. All the best.
The university's high quality approach to education made the program really worth it.
Worcester is a great place to be. There are museums, music and theatre performance centers apart from lots of restaurants and shopping centers. I enjoyed myself a lot.
