I would say that my overall experience at this univ was good.

Gaining admissions – there is nothing uniquely different; for an engineering program one needs to give GRE and TOEFL. Make sure you don’t have any backlogs in your undergraduate degree. That always helps. Tip for the VISA interview “Keep your cool”.

Wayne state is a particularly good school for mechanical engineering. I specialized in CAD/CAM. This technology is used by almost all software based companies.

Getting a job I this day and age is not a problem especially if you have a good degree from a school like Wayne State. There are plenty of opportunities.
