I would advice students with a high GRE score to apply for admission into the college. The research facilities are pretty good here, in addition to that the course and the lab sessions are also very good. I would say that it is a great place to go in for a PhD as the funding is also excellent.
High GRE is required for the admission into the college. I got F-1 visa and since I have funding, it was easy. I flew to Atlanta through Detroit. The immigration there took no time. I opted for Delta airways and they do not have special student fares or baggage options.
As a PhD student, you can expect both tuition waiver and a monthly stipend.
The course and the lab sessions are very good.
I live in off campus housing with co-students. Atlanta is good and calm going.
Job prospects after the course are good. University people guide you in those aspects. Alumni network organizes few get together parties and we chance to meet them often.
