This school offers every possible major, every possible club, and the campus is surrounded by FOUR LAKES. You can go canoeing at lunchtime, sailing at 5 at a different lake, and you have your pick of others on the weekend. There is bicycle riding, horse riding, jogging, arboretums, museums, planetariums and more. Lots to do. Good public services and green and lovely grounds and beautiful city on an isthmus.
It was not hard for me as I was number two in my high school. I don't know how it is for others.
Even though I was a scholar in high school my parents made too much money for me to get a scholarship. I worked part time jobs all through.
I studied hard. For me the courses were hard. My major was hard for me. Lecturers and professors basically love their subjects and they are happy and proud to be at this university. Facilities in biological science are hard to match in the whole world compared to this school.
The buildings are up to date and well-heated. (It gets cold in this climate in the winter) The town is green and beautiful and it is also the state capital so it is politically interesting. I could always find a job when I needed one. There are at least two big student unions, one on each end of campus. Movies are made available to students for a very cheap price. You can see classic movies all the time for very little cost.
This university is hard to match in the whole world for biological sciences. They have so many departments and facilities and grants it is ridiculous. When I would tell anyone in my field where I went to school they completely respect it.
