The most important feature about Iowa State was that it was located in Ames'a very peaceful city. Ames is awesome for study and a wonderful environment for research. In Vietnam I could not find any city that had a university like Iowa State - the university is the center of Ames. Iowa State is really great. It is the biggest university I have ever seen. I couldn't imagine a university could have up to 27,000 students. In Vietnam the biggest university has 20,000 students. Another big surprise was the equipment that is available in the laboratories and lecture halls. It is the best equipment I have ever seen. Iowa State will definitely give me opportunities to be successful in the future. I strongly believe that.

The best thing about living on campus is living close to class; I can walk or take the bus. I think the environment in the residence halls is very friendly and the people are funny. It has helped me to improve my English abilities and experience living in the U.S.
